Below is our Dress Code for outdoor matches, please make sure you adhere to this when on the green

Outdoor dress code reminder

Regulation dress at all times when playing or officiating on the green shall be:

a) Men ... Grey trousers (not jeans or very casual trousers, not leggings or track suit bottoms, but from a recognised bowls clothing supplier); plain white shirt or white polo shirt, white jumper, white or club blue jacket, white hat, white/grey/brown bowling shoes. Waterproof jackets must be white or club blue. On ‘white’ days, white trousers (not jeans or very casual trousers, not leggings or track suit bottoms, but from a recognised bowls clothing supplier) are to be worn and waterproof jackets can be white or club blue.

b) Ladies: Grey bowling skirt or tailored trousers (not jeans or very casual trousers, not leggings or track suit bottoms, but from a recognised bowls clothing supplier); plain white sleeved blouse with collar or white polo shirt, white or club blue jumper/cardigan/jacket, white hat, white/grey/brown bowling shoes. Waterproof jackets must be white or club blue. On ‘white’ days, white tailored trousers (not jeans or very casual trousers, not leggings or track suit bottoms, but from a recognised bowls clothing supplier) or white skirts are to be worn and waterproof jackets can be white or club blue.

c) Men and Ladies, it is a requirement when representing the club, some form of Hadleigh Bowls Club identification, such as a club polo shirt, badge, tie or flash must be worn. If a white shirt and club tie is chosen, the tie must be worn correctly unless the Captain of the day gives permission for ties to be removed.

d) Men and Ladies, white or grey tailored shorts (such as from a recognized bowls clothing supplier) may be worn.

Anyone who is seen not wearing the correct clothing will, in the first instance receive a warning and if there is a further instance, they will have to leave the rinks and change their clothes to the correct clothing. This rule applies to every time members are on the green for any session - roll-up sessions, matches, marking and competitions.

Players must change into their bowls shoes just before they play and enter the rink or short mat hall. Bowls shoes must not be worn to and from the bowls club.
